7/8's Strat or Tele

For those who have designed/built (or even just played) a Warmoth 7/8's model of any type, could you share your experience and recommendations?  The reduction is almost 15 percent of the regular size (for both the body and the neck)...and I'd like to know if there is a meaningful difference you can feel?  Thanks!

I just ordered a 7/8 Strat body and neck. I'm interested in hearing about user experience as well.
