Ya know - that'd be really sweet if you modified the headstock to pick up the lower bout curve / cutaway flare.

You mean like a Warhead neck? I still might do that, and have it as an alternate neck to this one, but with a rosewood board.

The photos I've seen have the strap button at the point of the upper horn, with the screw going into the body roughly parallel to the neck.
