35 inch scale Gecko 5 questions....

I searched this and haven't quite found the answer I'm looking for...

1) Will a Gecko 5 neck (35" scale) fit the neck pocket of any of the deluxe five bodies?

2) If yes, is conversion of these bodies to 35" scale simply a matter of positioning the bridge one inch further back?

Bummer. Seems like a 35 scale neck should be a pretty popular option for a 5 string bass, I can't imagine why they'd wish to limit it to only the Gecko body.
