So I've got a useless 1/2" hole in my guitar right now.  The angled switch doesn't have a long enough threaded shaft to make it through the top of this strat body.  What the hell am I supposed to do?

NM.  Apparently there is a deep nut that shouldve been included with this switch.  In addition, they make longer shafted switches..what a pain in the ass.

that is odd. you have a rear routed strat?

must be the angled switch. I used the straight switch that warmoth sells and it worked fine. I drilled the holes wherever I wanted them and they worked fine.

I just took a drill to the cavity until it was a hair from the finish. Worked like a treat.

same here. Still afraid like hell that I'll punch through the wood when hitting the toggle with force, but I fixed with with a rather large metal plate in the body behind the top.

The deep nut is NEVER included... you ALWAYS have to get the deep one as an accessory.
