2nd Warmoth Build: Mahogany VIP

Absolutely a Warmoth customer for life. Love this build as much as my first (a gorgeous Walnut Mooncaster) and as soon as I stumble into a couple grand, I’ll probably build a third! (Totally worth it for the quality!)

Body: Mahogany/Zebrawood top
Neck: Scalloped Birdseye Maple
Seymour Duncan Sentient/Pegasus pickups (this one is built for evil)

That's a very handsome axe. Every once in a while I fantasize about getting my hands on a scalloped neck just to see what I can make of it. This item has renewed my fantasy.

Thanks very much… My first build was 1/2 scalloped and I was crazy about it. I can’t get enough of that feel.

I built a tele first, a strat second, and just finished a VIP.

This is my first foray into the "prs" style and I gotta say I agree that it's the best shape, although personal bias most certainly plays a role in that.

One thing I've noticed between the vip and strat shapes is the thickness of the Contoured heel. The vip is noticeably thicker.
