Guitar designer Rich Lasner talks about the new Vox Series 77 guitars:

This brings up my old affection for 335-like guitars.

Lots of innovative stuff too. And if the price is right - it could compete for my hard earned cashed spend on that instead of another Warmoth.  :sad1:

I hear ya.  I really wish I could built a Warmoth 335.  I love them so much!

Something new from Satch.

A good friend of mine's son played the NAMM show and as usuall he kicked a**. He is an 11 year old drummer and has been drumming since he was 2, I watched him grow up and develop over time and he is pretty amazing. I guess some people are just born with it. His name is Cole Marcus if anyone wants to look him up. pretty cool stuff.

"Yeah I'm surprised to see Mr Malmsteen with a SD pickup."

They tricked him by naming them Seymour Duncan Donuts... he was powerless to resist.

how could he be so fat and so fast at the same time?!  :icon_scratch:

Look at johnny hiland. No offence meant to him, but he's a big boy and can play ridiculously fast.

I noticed on the Yngwie Malmsteen literature he is going by Yngwie "J." Malmsteen.  I'm not familiar with Swedish names, but was he getting confused with all of the other Yngwie Malmsteens that he had to put the "J." in there?  Is the name Yngwie Malmsteen the Swedish equivalent of John Smith over here.

I've yet to meet a single person named John Smith, haha.

A Swedish friend told me that Yngwie is a bit of an old fashioned name for old people... :tard:

He started out thin.

According to WIKI his birth name is Lars Johan Yngve Lannerbäck. His artist name is an anglification of that.
