.110" X .057" fret wire

Hello all-

Just ordered my warmoth strat style body :-D. It is going to have gold hardware, and I'd like to have the gold colored fret wire. My current number one guitar is an american series 54 RI strat, and I am afraid that the gold colored frets are going to be far to large. I am a blues/rock player and I do quite a few large bends, and vibratos. Hope it helps!

Love gold frets! I'm not secure enough to use them, but they do look nice on wenge and ebony.  :icon_thumright:

You can always dress the frets down a bit.  On new frets... it should be relatively easy, since once you have the neck absolutely straight, you can judge the evenness of your dressing down by the flats on the fret tops.  Once you're down to something in the mid .040's and all even, they'll need some minor recrown too.

Actually something in the .045'sh x .110 range sounds rather appealing.
