Pic 3: The knobs looked a little bright compared to the tuners and nut, so my wife put them in some tea to try and stain them. It helped a little, but not as much as we had hoped.

Try some espresso...  That should darken the knobs.  Just look what it did to my teeth!

Is that cheating to use slide on a fretless guitar? OTOH if you're gonna play slide all the time, you don't need frets, but still... seems like its cheating.

That's cool, would look better with something different for the wings, like wenge or something... :dontknow:

Silvertone has something similar too, no I wasn't looking for either of these, just happened to stumble across them... :laughing7:
