10 Year Birthday Refresh

I bought this spalted maple body off the showcase late summer or early fall of 2015 and finished the build in Nov of 2015. It was my #1 guitar for at least 8 of those 10 years. It might be back to #1 again. Regardless, I thought I would give it a bit of an update for it's milestone birthday.

Before:



I decide to:

• Replace the saddles to raw brass for a contrasted look
• Replace the steel block with a zinc one to reduce the weight which makes it a lot more comfortable
• Replace the pickups from SD Pearly Gates to Lambertones Grinders (no holes)
• Replace the side dots with Luminlay Super Blue glowy dots
• Replace the headstock badge with a shiny brass one
• Replace the neckplate with a custom neckplate

No real complaint to be honest. It’s pretty much splitting hairs but these are slightly lower output and.. if I’m being honest… the no holes covers look cool.
