Last time I asked Warmoth would not accept any incoming bodies or guitars for finishing, not even fresh ones off their own production. I wanted a body and try it unfinished and only send it back for painting if it was worthy. They don't do that.

What kind of tape? I use specialized plastic polishing compound to remove the SD logo. But of course that doesn't age them.

I would prefer to use a long leg humbucker in the bridge, with a tall ring. Just trying to clarify whether there is enough height.

Well, my question is whether the angled neck pocket creates enough height at the bridge to use tall rings.

If you use the Gotoh wraparound and have Warmoth's angled neck pocket... ... do you get to use tall humbucker mounting rings with the bridge pickup (as on a Les Paul)?

Here is how the magnetic field changes.  The non-RWRP one has a much narrower view of the vibrations on the string.

To my ears the neck and middle pickup in a Strat are close enough that their magnetic fields influence each other to an audible degree. It is easy to test: - take a guitar with no middle pickup, switch to neck pickup and start playing an open string - hold a loose Strat pickup above the strings...

It might be OK for things that only need a drill (round) and many people don't care about a slight radius mismatch on dot markers. But putting LP Custom inlays  in with frets on will require quite some chisel skill :)

You could always get rid of even the small leg that they have on there (flatten out). Without leg the P-rails isn't any higher than a short-leg standard humbucker.
