The decal came from Ebay seller "brauskoh". He's done several for me and they have all been great. Highly recommended.

After I was done with sanding sealer over the fabric I traced the body on cardboard. I positioned the body flat & laid the cardboard cutout on it. I sprayed the black at about a 45 degree downward angle to prevent it from getting onto the face. It actually worked better than I expected.  :hello2:

It's perfect for the workbench while fiddling with electronics. And I do actually pull it out to play it once in a while.

It seems to be very secure. I roughed up the area to be glued on both the bracket & pickguard before I glued it. I pulled on it pretty good after it was dry & it seems solid. Also, the toggle only sticks up about 1/8" so you don't get much leverage on it. Any chance it could come undone? I...

It lets you add the neck pickup with the bridge pickup.

Also, I've gotten a lot of questions regarding the switch. I fabricated a bracket out of a piece of strap & used epoxy to attach it to the pickguard. Drilled two holes at the ends of the where the slot would go & used a Dremel to connect them.

The mahogany has a set of aftermarket compensated saddles I got off Ebay. Don't remember the brand. The other guitar has saddles from a Highway One Tele.

Jeff Head made the body. http://www.headguitars.com/ I had to modify the warmoth pickguard slightly to fit.

The graphic is fabric. It is attached with decoupage glue, covered with sanding sealer & sanded (many times) then nitro. I haven't decided completely on pickups for it yet but I have a hot rail in the bridge right now and probably something hot in the neck. This will be set up for playing slide...

First one is finished. Mahogany body with flame maple top. Next is one in process. Be happy to hear your thoughts.  :rock-on:
