yeah i looked at stewmac for it, aswell as manchester guitar tech as i live in england, and they have a good tutorial for it, what kind of paints should i use? and does swamp ash need filler or anything more?

How easy would it be to do a transparent finish? a purple with a black back and a black burst over onto the purple. like the transparant purple warmoth do but a bit lighter and with the black and any help on what finishing materials to use, what cans or anything. cheers :occasion14:

ok cheers  :occasion14: should be able to work out wiring diagram from all the help, when using the music man and jazz wiring diagrams along side the pre amp one, does the grounding featured in the pick up diagrams stay the same?

ok cool and wiring the jazz neck pickup should be straight foward onto the wiring set? so to speak .... new at this soooo :help: lol

so do you just use the u retro linked up  to the two pick ups? and how does the 3 way coil tap switch fit in? and like were did  you get it, im new to the whole making a bass right now, so any places with wiring schematics for this kind of set up?

that looks amazing, but what are all the switches and everything for? both my current basses only use a volume and tone with switcher, or two volumes and a tone, just looking to get to know what electronics it would work best with before i go ahead buying any, be that in a month, or longer, but...
