Does anyone know what size allen key is needed to adjust the posts of Warmoth's modified mustang bridge? I of course lost mine as it is VERY tiny, and none of the others I own seem to fit. :help:

My plan was to use black pickup covers and Jbass knobs but I'm having second thoughts. Any opinions?

I waited 3 months for this body and I now have Sciatica and am bedridden! Bummer! I can't stand or sit up for more than a few minutes. I have an MRI in a few days then hopefully I can get this fixed soon and put together this beautiful guitar!

I did thin the oil out 50/50 on the first two coats with mineral spirits, so maybe that disolved(?) some of the natural oil in the rosewood.  I'm just pulling theories out of my butt as I have no experience with this at all, just what YouTubers have advised. Other than that one spot, it's taking...

Now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it is (end grain).  So will it eventually start to build up, or should I just leave it?

Yep, I've wet-sanded the whole thing three times with 400 grit to fill in the huge open grain a little bit, but that one little area just doesn't want to take.

This is my first Warmoth and first time applying tung oil and so far so good! Here's day one, two, and three so far:

On day/coat 2 of Tung Oil for my Black Korina/Rosewood Top strat.  It's looking great so far! Like the title says, I was just wondering how many coats you folks put on your bodies? I'm assuming wood types play a big role. --Matthew

I'm not entirely sure what kind of oil to use yet. Nothing too glossy.  Keeping the wood as natural as possible is what I'm going for. --Matthew
