Is it possible for a plywood guitar to sound good?

Aren't ES 330s, Casinos and most other thinline hollowbody and semi-hollowbody guitars made from molded plywood?

Pandemic coping? What have y'all done?

I heard someone say the following noting that people in 2019 would have no clue what was being discussed: "Wordle is the sourdough starter of 2022"

Pandemic coping? What have y'all done?

very cool. Funny thing is I usually brew 2-4 batches of beer each winter/spring, but for some reason didn't do any brewing in 2020/2021. I got into some woodworking. My first project when I was on furlough was to build a proper workbench, so I built the "Paul Sellers" workbench. It's a bit...

Nice...

As far as the "tone" is in the fingers go,: While I am pretty much going to sound like "me" on any guitar, that is due to technique and note choice more than tone. I sound like "me" in many ways when I play a D-28, but that tone is RADICALLY different from when I play a 00-17, or a telecaster...

    Recomendations for Learning Tools?

I second the advise on learning how to read music. People who "sight read" do so on written sheet music. It is a better notation for quick reading. Tabs are useful, especially for a beginner, but standard notation is much more clear and shows how the music is functioning rather than where it...
