I've never used them but I have come across a few good reviews, none if I remember right of the TOM version. Maybe someone else on the board got a chance to try them out?

You may also want to look at the Graphtec Ghost pickups - you will just need to buy the saddles so you won't have to replace the whole assembly. The only worry may be getting the right radius as I'd be quite wary of filing down saddles with piezo pickups in them - but maybe I am wrong there and...

Depending on where you live, in lieu of L&M, try a few of the local guitar shops, they can often order the parts in, and the overhead will often be just the price of shipping. Where are you located in Canada? If you're in Toronto, if I remember right, Steve's has a good selection of pick-ups.

Curtis Novak makes some humbuckers that fit in the Jazzmaster route that with a "dial-a-tap" (variable) coil split setup on the second set of pots on the guitar can still sound like a Jazzmaster.
