Yea, I love the Bigsby...  Great for subtle chord vibrato & such.    It stays in tune excellent if set up correctly.    (the ones without the tension bar are best)  The key is that the wound strings DO NOT slide over the bridge when using the bar.    A modern tunematic bridge works great if...

I had them angle the neck pocket at the max pitch they can do... Only needed to shim it a bit more to get the angle I needed for the Bigsby.  It's set up much like a Gretsch Duo-Jet.    Still feels very Gibson though...  the '59 neck contour & 12" radius feels just right.

In all honesty, it is a better playing, better sounding, & more stable instrument than my Gibson LP Standard.

I was never a huge fan of the classic turtle logo, but have grown to like it over the years... probably because Warmoth products are so good.     Still, I think they should "modernize" the logo & come out with a new, hipper tortoise...

It's not something Warmoth is setup to do...  I've trimmed a few down, but 22nd fret slot is a bit within the edge.    To make it look right, you have to fill the slot, or round over the edge a bit.      Overall it's a minor issue, but would make a nice option. 

I stumbled across this finish about a year ago & absolutely love it.    It's by far the best product I have found for "raw" neck fans.   It is easy to apply like an oil finish, but builds and protects better since it's a varnish.    It's fool-proof to apply, dries fast, & holds up well over...

I see Warmoth now offers a "select your own fingerboard slab" option for special order necks... pretty cool idea.    Rosewood tends to vary a lot in color, darkness, grain & you never know what you're getting.    I would pay the extra $$$ for that special neck.    They only need to upload more...
