    Floyd Rose

Agreed on the OFR. While the Ping is as close as you're going to get aftermarket-wise, it's only like a $30-40 savings(?)...not really worth it, IMO. Accept no substitutes. And all of my recessed Floyds work with 37mm...you'd only need a 32mm for a Soloist of something with a recessed...

1 3/4" nut width on shorter scale guitar necks

I'm with ya on this.. :headbang1:

    Gotoh Floyd Rose trem

The Schaller version is slightly different, and I'm not into them...I know the Ping one is the only one allowed to actually SAY "Floyd Rose" on it, but it also still says "licensed by" under the fine-tuners like most of the knockoffs do.... I recently purchased a new OFR, haven't installed it...

    Recessed Tremolo Cavity Cover

But why bother with all that, when you could just buy a shorter block? Assuming you're using a recessed OFR... :icon_scratch:

    Kramer Baretta body

I was looking on www.vintagekramer.com, and the '83 bodies look like the standard pacer and baretta styling...however, the '81 catalog bodies look much more Strat-like....never was a fan of the Pacer/Baretta body, though I did get a Voyager in '84...

    Gotoh Floyd Rose trem

I guess more options are always a good thing...but myself, as far as a locking trem, I'd never use anything other than a (Big-Blocked)  OFR... accept no substitutes....;)

    6100 Stainless Steel Frets

I'd concur with that as a desirable option...it's more ironic to see Jingles posting here, too...what up, bro? :D

    New headstock styles

It's not a matter of me being "adamant", I'm just not sure where to get an authentic headstock to do a tracing with...I just want an Explorer/Ibanez Destroyer headstock that's more accurate in shape than the current catalog offering...Someone at Warmoth once (when I called asking why their...

Compound Radius Necks - Problems with (Staggered) Poles?

Back on topic? ;) Same here, I have two with necks compound radius on Strat builds with Dimarzio Virtual Vintage (staggered pole) pickups. No issues.  Plus more manufacturers are adopting the compound radius, and I see pickup manufacturer's touting "magnet staggers that work with TODAY's ...

    Recessed Tremolo Cavity Cover

I never even use tremolo cavity covers, but I can see why someone would want them...however, if it had a Floyd the block would have to be 32mm though as opposed to 37mm for the dual recess, correct? Does seem like it'd open a can of worms they(W)'d rather not deal with...not like they sell...

    New headstock styles

Hello all, longtime Warmoth user/newbie poster :party07:... That's exactly what I was looking for, coincidentally...I wanted to make sure they still offered custom headstocks as an option (though not for a 7 string). Last time I ordered a Strat neck I paid a $15 upcharge to have them to leave...
