I'm looking to put two humbuckers in my next build but I have no idea which ones.. Mainly using it for metal (trash, metalcore,...), the bridge humbucker should provide a crunching and bassy rythm tone and a sweet and full lead sound in the neck, both very articulate. The only problem is that...

Would the rotary switch enable all possible configurations? (Bridge, Bridge-Middle, Middle, Middle-Neck, Bridge-Neck) And I don't know if this will make me look silly, but can you choose which of the singlecoils of the humbuckers are active after coil-splitting?

I'm planning to build my own custom guitar this year. I know all the specs I'd like and will buy the parts from Warmoth, but I have some questions about the possibility of getting this wired (..and working). I'm absolutely no hero in wiring (in fact I've never done this before) but if necessary...

I want to make my own custom soloist, but I know almost nothing about wiring and electronics  :doh: That's why I need your help! It'll have a HH-configuration, one volume and one tone knob and a three-way switch(simple, yet effective). The pickups I'll be using are the DiMarzio Evolution...

Update: to make it even more custom I'm probably going to have my own logo on the headstock (sticker), I'll post the design once I scanned it. I also thought about a custom neckplate, maybe the custom neckplate maker-guy from this forum wants to make it, I still have to check with him.. Design...

I know, normally I'd go with the trapezium inlays, but I saw someone's Warmoth guitar and it had the same type of inlays but with stars.. And you know how it works, if you see something you like, you have to have it too  :icon_biggrin:
