Looking for feedback on VTB1 Vintage Style Bridge

Be advised that a vintage Tele has 4 plate mounting screw hole locations with 3 saddle bolts, and the Modern Tele that has 6 saddles have just 3 plate mounting locations under the saddle. With compensated saddle designs, I find the intonation is close enough.

Matching headstock veneer, flame maple, tobacco burst. Gotoh tuners, old metal logo with 'Made in USA" fine print line.

    Old project with newer appointments.

Update 2020: I did get my Sheptone's , Upshot (F-spaced)  in the bridge position, Tribute 4 (Alnico 4) in the neck. Fender circa 1978 Strat pickup in the middle. PRS branded plastic pickup rings. I was surprised at how rare the flat bottom, no-tilt humbucker pickup ring is. I guess the the...

Restock for the metal Warmoth decals?

Yes, mine reads "Mad  in the USA" The finish is glossy on the headstock veneer, and the guitar is a homebody.

F-hole pickguard for the hybrid Strat

I vote for this.  Would it be better to have the piece follow the lines of the lower horn?

1st Warmoth build photos. My Superstrat!

Excellent! :headbang: This Superball Superstrat will make your audience bounce :blob7: Did not know they now engrave 'Original' in the Floyd.  I have an older black one. Does it sound bright?  Thanks for sharing.

Here's my San Dimas shredder spec. Please review and answer some questions!

I have a flame maple on basswood soloist with SS6105 on a Brazilian rosewood board on a quartersawn maple neck.  The quartersawn is worth it. I have an original Floyd with the R4 nut, and feel that the edge distance is correct on my 1 11/16--24.75" scale neck.  Thanks for bringing up the saddle...

That body finish is so hot it roasted the neck.  Love the Original Floyd. :kewlpics:

    Basswood vs Poplar?

Basswood with a flame maple top; Warmoth 'thin' polyurethane finish.; almost 7 years old.  It is a homebody, but I do stand and play it strapped on.  I wouldn't shy away from using a quality piece of basswood because this guitar sounds sweet, and feels nice and light strapped on. However the...

    Old project with newer appointments.

Update: Strat knobs with knurling. The older Burst knobs (amber, smooth, hat shaped) were too slick. Replaced the worn screws.  Now with the Superswitch that puts the neck and the inside bridge coil on in parallel in the 3rd position of the 5-way switch.  The mini switch is a phase reverse for...
