Time to talk about wenge and my brand new project V

So I just scored a black Warmoth V, floyd route. $90. It will need a neck and will have a standard EMG 81-85 set. Body wood unknown at the moment, but again it's going to be a set of EMGs.

I'm thinking going wenge/wenge for the neck, no finish, some kind of inlays other than cream dots. Someone tell me why I shouldn't?

Id say maybe pearloid sharkfins or ovals, or the black version if you want it to blend in not stand out.
