Zippo Lighter fluid alternative?

I'm running out of Zippo Lighter fluid and it seems hard to find now.

What's the logical alternative for wiping off sanding dust?

Naphtha, which is basically what lighter fluid is, is available by the quart or gallon for a LOT less $$ than lighter fluid. Wonderful stuff, too. Won't harm finishes or plastics. Denatured alcohol is pretty inexpensive and effective, too.

Naphtha is pretty much the same as 'white gas' - you know the stuff that powers your Coleman stove. 

Any hardware or outdoor type store will have quarts of the stuff.

Update! - just got on the Coleman website - it's not the same as Naphtha and has a bunch of other stuff in it.  Please take my advice with a grain of salt!  :tard:

Naphtha is basically the "duct tape" of solvents to keep around the house. Good for a lotta things. It seems to know what you want removed and what should remain unharmed. Plus, it's good for varnish makers and painters as a reducer/cleaner.

Interesting - I picked up a gallon at a Sherwin Williams store in Santa Cruz, of all places - but I had to ask for it.  They store it in the back.  Probably so it's generally only picked up by professionals who ostensibly know what they're doing, instead of street urchins who will just go huff it behind the record store.

... and the way it flashes off into nothing reminds me of the original (pre EPA ban) Blue Shower Contact cleaner.
