GOM said:Actually, they're labeled quite clearly. One only has to read them. One is for submissions, one is for voting.
Its really rather simple. You go to the submissions thread. Pick ONE instrument to vote for. It has a number. Use your brain as a temporary storage device to hold that number for about 30 seconds. Now go to the voting thread and withdraw that number from bio-storage and vote for that number. Done.
There is no need to redundantly show the images in two threads. There is no way, currently, to thumbnail the images next to the selections in the voting thread. Thats the way it is. You can choose to participate - which does mean participation by actually viewing one thread, and then going to another to vote. Or you can complain, or do both, or... do nothing. Simple choices, but it is as it is.
Take some time to read the official rules: (9 and 10 below)
9. Submitted photographs will be placed in the single post in the GOM section, on the Unofficial Warmoth Forum, by the GOM contest officials, with no particular order of appearance, except that which is generally first come first served.
10. Voting, each month, shall be by the members in good standing of the Unofficial Warmoth Forum, and take place during the second seven-day week of each month, regardless of day of the week, immediately following the submission period for that month. Successful contest winners will be announced immediately after the end of voting. Voting shall take place in a dedicated thread, in the GOM section of the Unofficial Warmoth Forum, and results will remain secret to voters and public until the expiration of the voting period. The results of the on-line voting are final.
