Hello guys!

I find myself asking for help again here about the build I'm planning.

Being left handed, I was never able to choose the colours for my guitars, so I'm literally obsessing more about the colour rather than actually picking the neck scale (25.5 vs 24.75, still thinking about it)...so can you guys show me some pics of your Warmoth's Fire Burst dye and Yellow dye bodies?

thank you so much

did you try the search function or google or searching the warmoth website?
One tip, once you pick the best photos (and parenthetically wood is an organic substance, and computer monitors show colors differently) ask your wife which one.  Once you get buy in, it makes the rest of the process so much easier and you don't get the question: "Why do you need another guitar?"  Jeesh, I hate that question.

i'm not married, but luckily i'm well supported about music.
she replied: do it black.
i almost killed her.

i did a research, i found here on the forum a couple of (beautiful) fire bursts, but no yellow dye; same on google...

thank you!!!

it gives me PRS vibes. i thought it was more similar to the yellow of the gibson "iced tea" bursts

In general I think bursts are more interesting and add more character to the guitar. A tobacco burst maybe makes it look 'vintage Americana' whereas a green-black burst might make you look more 'metal' like a snake 🐍.

But yellow can definitely look very nice as well on the right guitar, like the one posted above - super dope.

What kind of guitar are you building?

This is more or less my plan right now.
i still need to decide some stuff, but this is almost final.

i'm trying to have a "best of both worlds" with gibson and fender; even though i'm a metalhead (more or less), i do not want something flashy, i'm looking for a classic look.

Oooh, a Les Tele! Or maybe a Tele Paul! That should be a really neat guitar, I love the concept. I definitely think the burst would be the way to go for that. A yellow dye doesn't scream 'les paul' like the burst does.

Cream binding is definitely a good choice for that, ivoroid would also be a really good choice and possibly what I would go with.

P90 in the neck and a hummer in the bridge? That's a great combination!

Don’t know about that. One of the most famous LPs is pretty close to yellow :)
