Just a thought, I like these guitars.

It would be cool if Warmoth was able to do bodies for these guitars.  with or without the chambered option I would definately buy one from warmoth over yamaha.

nah just the shape of them. up close they're just... unusual. i dunno, its probably just me, im sure heaps of people like them.

I think it's between LP size and Archtop jazz guitar

I wouldn't mind trying my hand at a warmoth archtop jazzer, theres a lot of money in that game if you can build something on a par with a Gibson and the hollow L5 guitar shape is still reasonably priced.

The L5S is alike this...

not quite. Theres a carved contour that the l5s doesn't have.  its really noticeable on the lower horn.

In this picture the blue-ish color really makes it stick out.

I've wanted one of these ever since i figured out what they were.  James Black from Finger Eleven has a couple and when i researched it i found that they didn't make them anymore.. and yet her they are.  My interest peaked this week when i found them in a guitar store that i dont usually frequent.

this is the same thing right?

oops i guess not...

Okay i guess some models of it were discontinued. oh well

I guess the only real noticeable difference is the headstock.
