WTT L5S for Strat Neck

Hey everyone, it has been a while for me but I am still lurking around. My recent motorcycle obsession has been taking up all my time  :laughing7:

So lets get down to brass tacks. I have about 4 guitar bodies just sitting around in my room, and in an effort to get a one together I would like to trade the mahogany L5S I got not too long ago found here...

For a strat neck of some sort. I would like this to be a straight trade, and am hoping to get some tuners with the neck, since there is a bridge with the body. Obviously if the neck is pretty nice, we can get around that part, but all the same. I will entertain all offers, but I will probably be kind of picky because in reality I'm not all that keen on getting rid of the body. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.

Too late, boys and girls. She's mine now. Had to give up a Wenge/Wenge neck w/ tuners and fret setup, but I was in a similar place as far as having parts lying about that weren't spoken for, so it's a deal.

Now I gotta figger out what kind of finish it would like. Should probably check my Xanax supply as well. Damn Mahogany wants to fight...

Green on mahogany looks awful nice. I even have half a bottle of Mixol grass green universal pigment I will be happy to contribute to the fight.  Plus it looks awesome with gold hardware.

Green's on the list. But, I've got some amount of new chrome hardware already for the thing, so I don't know. That would also work, though.

I've never personally shot a candy finish before (although I do have one) and I like the looks of those. I mean, just because it's Mahogany doesn't mean it has to brag about it. Look how many Les Pauls are made of Mahogany that's been covered up. Lotsa options going in that direction. Or maybe pearl something-or-other?

I feel like I made out like a bandit and couldn't be more giddy about getting my first exotic neck! Let alone a beautiful piece of Wenge. Keep your eyes peeled for both me and Cagey making some stellar guitars :icon_thumright:
