WTB: contoured Tele (standard) body

looking for a standard tele body but with forearm, belly, and if possible (but not necessary) heel contours. body must be finished. i prefer solid colors. red, yellow, blue, etc. picky about bursts. but i'm open to whats out there. needs to be be set up for a standard tele pickup layout for tele pickups. no hardware necessary.

basically, i dont feel like waiting the 6-8 weeks for warmoth to make me a custom body and nothing in their showcase really strikes my fancy. just curious if anything like this is out there.

Welcome aboard.  If you haven't considered it, I highly recommend the carved-top telecaster bodies.  They are comfortable as can be - the same advantages as the contoured standard tele body, but prettier.  There are a couple candy blue ones, and some red ones as well (candy, solid, transparent), although they are mostly in an LP config.  Even so - it's worth a thought.

Not exactly what you're asking for, but I have a Tele body I'd like to move...

It's a carved-top solid Alder part with a metallic black cherry finish. The neck pickup route is for a Strat pickup, and the bridge pickup route was originally for a standard Tele p'up, but it's been routed for a standard humbucker. Either will fit.

It has since been assembled, so I'm sure there are two holes drilled for a Strat p'up mounting ring. Also, strap hangers and the output jack plate. Very good condition, these normally sell for $400+ out of the showcase. I'll take $200.

so i just found this (newly listed?) body on warmoths showcase and went for it! so gorgeous. its zebrawood on mahogany. was originally thinking swamp ash but i couldnt resist this deal. saved over 200 bucks. and look at those contours!

That's an absolutely beautiful Tele body! Good thing you waited. And good thing I didn't see if first <grin>

Yep, that one went up today.  Wasn't a solid color as OP originally suggested he wanted, so I didn't bother to post.  Glad to see it's going to a good home.

i certainly had my eye on a solid color initially. almost went with the white pearl one that was recently listed but this one was just striking. i have a nice roasted maple warmoth neck i'll be putting on there. i'll be sure to show it off once its done!
