Working on a logo

I know most wont like this but i have re did the warmoth logo after spike gave me the go ahead. He wants pictures after i finish the guitar so lol. I just changed it up some but not really sure about it so let me know what you think.

Looks to me that you got the Gibson font and tried to make it more modern... Not sure how it worked... the O still looks equal Gibson font

Yea, the letters just do not seem to all jive together.

I think instead of having the letters angles to the right, they should all (including the W) to the left.

You know I've always hated the Warmoth logo (at least as far as putting it on a guitar). It looks really dated and it would be nice to have something a bit more refined so I could actually use it. Is this something you're doing for yourself or on W's behalf?

I do this sort of thing (semi-professionally) and I'd be happy to lend a hand if W were considering a new logo.

yea its something i am doing but warmoth said no problem im sure they could consider doing an update but beings they dont mind us altering it some i dont think they mind the logo so much

i tried to give it a gibson feel but as you can see its not working lol i just wanted the logo to sort of stand out and also something i did i mean building a warmoth guitar is custom to your needs and greeds so i figured maybe the way WARMOTH is on the neck could be also.

Strangely enough I sorta like the commie-style logo. Not sure if I'd want it on a guitar though...

Think the first one from that 3 you posted, but again I think the W isn't 100% fitting it... I think you can get it better
