Hey guys,
Will be wiring my new strat tomorrow. I am using Single Single Humbucker configuration and want the bucker to be split in position 4 (mid and bridge) and also use a push pull that when pulled will enable the humbucker regardless of position (i.e. plus the neck and mid, or neck alone). I am going off of these two diagrams below. Does this sound reasonable? I can follow these diagrams, but I'm kind of a noob at this.

One main question I have is if this will cause any issues in the 4 position? In that position the pup will be tapped but the push pull should enable full humbucking, right? Any issues here?

THANKS!

All you need to do is wire the common terminal of one pole of the push/pull pot to the bridge pickup's hot lead and the "up" position terminal for that pole to the output of the pickup selector switch. Then, to prevent the coil split, wire the north coil's - lead and south coil's + lead to the common terminal of the second pole of the push/pull pot, and the "down" position's terminal to wherever it went on the pickup selector before.
