My name is Øystein, I live in Norway, and I'm new here. I'm in the process of beginning a new guitar project with parts from Warmoth, so I thought it might be intelligent to ask a few questions from people on this forum who have experience with Warmoth guitars.
I have an idea for a pickup and wiring setup for my guitar, but I would like to hear if anyone has any views on it.
My idea is a Strat setup with Duncan Cool Rails in the neck, Vintage Rails in the mid and Li'l59 in the bridge. Standard volume, 1st tone neck/mid, 2nd tone bridge. I want push-push pots on both tone knobs. Neck/mid tone knob switches the two Rails between parallel and series when both are engaged, and bridge tone switches the '59 between series and parallel for somewhat more of a single coil sound from the bridge.
I'm pretty sure about the setup itself, but I would like to hear if someone here could tell me what sort of pots and capacitors would work best with this setup, and is this setup possible with the Warmoth 5-way switch?
