Will a Fender neck go into a Warmoth body OK?

Hello

First time poster.

I have a 2012 Fender Strat neck. American Deluxe model.

I want to build an ash bodied Strat that is rear routed. i.e. no pickguard on it.

Will the Fender neck slot OK into a Warmoth body?

Some more info.

Have a look at the bolts on my existing American Deluxe Strat.

Unlike a standard 4 bolt, the top screws are staggered because of the contoured heel.

Here is a body I specced up at Warmoth:

So the question is, can Warmoth provide the body with the holes that match a Deluxe neck?

Good morning and welcome aboard.
Quick answer to your question is Yes. but you have to pay attention to the details.

If you go to the Guitar & Neck options page at Warmoth look for "Will it fit My Guitar? (toward the bottom of the list) Then go to the bottom of the page you will find;

The Fender® Contoured Heel

This contoured heel and offset neck plate screw pattern is not compatible with our Warmoth "Pro" construction necks that use the Gotoh side adjust. The mounting screws will pierce the side adjust mechanism..NOT GOOD!

Our Total Vintage and Vintage Modern Necks ARE fully compatible with this application. We recommend omitting the mounting holes and drilling them yourself to match your body.

They also have a pic.

You kinda have to reverse think it as they are talking about W neck on F body and you are going the other way, but if you order the body without screw holes it shouldn't be a problem.

AND some where on this site there is a work around to show how to put in a short screw in the 4th hole. But I can't find it this morning. Hopefully someone else can point you to it.

Hope that helps.

He's not putting a Warmoth Pro neck on a Deluxe body, he's doing the opposite.  He's putting a Deluxe neck on a Warmoth body.

The neck will fit fine, but Warmoth doesn't do that heel design.  You will either have to redrill the 4th hole and use a rectangular neck plate or modify the neck heel to accept the deluxe neck plate.

The screw will go into the neck fine....just be careful and wax the screws well.  The only problem would be putting a warmoth neck into that body like the guys said.
