Hi gang.
I was determined to just use an original floyd in my build, but it might be best to use something simpler since I won't have a tech on the road.
I have played single cuts usually with a 12" or 10" radius my whole life, but need a trem in my new band, Archvillainz (I'm playing with Mike Malinin, ex-drummer from Goo Goo Dolls, who played on Iris and all those old Dizzy Up The Girl era hits, but it's all originals written by me, kind of insane pressure). We just announced the name a few days ago.
I'm wondering what the optimal radius is for both the Gotoh 510 and the Wilkinson VS100N, or how adjustable they both are. If I can keep a straight 12" that'd probably be for the best since it's what's I'm used to, but I'm open to trying something different if it makes sense.
