Swarfrat, out of interest, in your investigations did you find any issues with the neck/pocket seating, or is the floating position the natural spot for the Wilkinson on a Warmoth strat?
On my build my Wilkinson is floating ~1/8" above the body. Not a prob for me as I wanted this facility, but I doubt mine would be able to be mounted flush on the body without the saddles being ridiculously high (unless they are designed to be such? :icon_scratch
