I just bought a cheap partscaster that turned out to have a really crappy body and neck but some very nice hardware (Wilkinson, CTS pots, Bare Knuckles, Kluson tuners), bizarrely. I have wanted to build a Tele Baritone for ages and now I have the parts to do it, it'll be my second WM project. Will the Wilkinson 3-saddle tele bridge fit the holes drilled as the standard 'tele bridge' route that comes on most of the showcase Tele bodies?
Also, somebody told me that the tuner holes might have to be drilled out to accomodate the larger bottom string - upto a .070, is this true, or can vintage Fender style Kluson Deluxes accommodate really fat strings? I take it the ferrules should still be ok.
