This may sound like a stupid question but are wilikinson bushings supposed to be pressed / hammered flush to the body or slightly above ?
Mine are about 1mm above and don't seem to want to go further down.
Not sure I can answer the specific question, but I'd be interested in how you went about getting them in as far as you have? What's the technique and tools involved.
