Did you see any of Suhr's  2015 inspired by Nature range ?  They had a wood theme that will blow your socks off.

Interesting, but I just hate manufacturers names visible on my pickups. Too much bloody advertising in our lives as it is, I don't want it on my pickups too.

I do like the flat pole pieces. Always liked that look for a Strat pickup. That or individually adjustable pole pieces like the SDS pups from DiMarzio.

I'm the same way re: visible names.  I would have actually grabbed a set had it not been for a huge name like that.  He's got some others with a skull that are super cool looking, and other rare woods, but I'm not a fan of the big name.  Sand it off and refinish?  Or use some wood filler or something....Heh!
