Why no 24-fret 24.75” scale neck other than for 7/8ths?

Is there something about the full-sized 8/8th body/neck combos that make a fret extension on 24.75” scale incompatible?

The full sized bodies can take a 22 fret conversion neck. The 7/8 neck uses a similar blank as a 22 fret 25.5" scale with a 24 fret 24.75" scale. The bodies for each don't intonate with each other.

One area of incompatibility for a 24 fret extension for a 24.75" as for the 25.5" scale 24 fret extension is the neck pickup position. In any event, it is not an offering from Warmoth.

For the shorter 24.75” scale, the 24 fret fretboard overhang on a full size body would be longer by about 4.5mm (3/16”) and the access would also be reduced by the same amount. It makes sense to choose 7/8th style components in this case.
