It wouldnt seem as those LV has looked inside any Marshalls (washing hands after typing that..) made since -Ill be kind and say,1980s..Especially recent ones-what the heck are ribbon-cables,jumper-switches,and IC chips doing inside tube amps?!?! Pop one now days,and you have to double-check to make sure you arent inside your laptop.

As a Carvin owner, this rings true. My V3 head is currently standing on its side by my couch, acting more as an end table / 12AX7 storage unit than an amp. When it was working, though, the tone was great.
