I'm missing some shapes formally offered.

Yuppers. I'm there, dude.
I have some old catalogs from back when Warmoth was known as Boogie Bodies.

My greatest regret to date was not snatching up a fancy LPS with a fancy top, some kind of dye finish (purple or blue) and your good old fashioned 2 piece hard tail. Such a great body style. Among other regrets: an SG and an L5S. Firebird with two mini humbuckers wouldve been nice, too, but I feel like that demands and a top quality quilt maple, fancy dye finish with some fancy wood grain on the neck, which is above my pay grade.

I can dream, though. One things for sure, I'm never buying another name brand guitar unless it's a PRS, and those are gosh darn pricey. Maybe one day.

I regret not getting an L5s, who knows maybe they'll make another full size based on the regal, but demand has to be low for this... there's only so many people that want a huge guitar and the L5s and L6 never seemed that popular

In 2001(?) i bought a mahogany LPS routed for 2 P90s.  That sucker just barked through my first handbuilt amp (Tweed Deluxe).  I sincerely regret letting that one go.

I do. And I wish I'd have snatched an LPS when I had the chance.
I wish I'd have gotten an original VIP.. :sad1:

Yeah no kidding, Doug. I'd love to have one of those. Still, pretty happy with my current VIP, even if it doesn't have a neck yet. Wait! Shoot! I've said too much!

I miss the LP bodies, carved tops or flat tops.......

Who was the forum member who's build specialty was mostly LP guitars with amazing lam tops ?  I bet he misses them even more than me.

That'd be the guy.  He's got is own business building guitars now, and making a pretty serious go of it.  He's doing some beautiful work mixing and matching various exotic and comparatively ordinary lumbers.

What the flat top LP eventually turned out.....

NICE!!!!!!! This is what I'm talking about! A pity to not have such an option in the present day. I'd like the current Diamond back a lot more if it wasn't so offset.

I did build a VW and a SG back in the day. Would love to see the SG back but with thinner body like an SG.

One day I will build a P90 SG Junior in my weirdo specifications, maple body and neck, skinny body, chunky neck with narrow string spacings...

One day...

Sounds like the -61 LP Jr (SG-shaped) I had, except mine was mahogany (obviously). But it sure was nice  :icon_tongue:
