All that's left is installing the tuning pegs and strap buttons and then the little things...like making it playable.

No day of rest on Sunday and it will be done on earth.

Make sure you stretch the kingdom come out of the strings.

Forgive those little snags that will crop up during setup.

It will lead you to much power and glory at your gig.

Amen.

There must have been a mix up, you loaded the photo backwards...... :tard:.... :icon_biggrin:

Har har. Thanks!

Well, all the screws are screwed and the neck looks mostly straight. Time to string it up! This one took exponentially less time than my first Warmoth.

Well, she's got some strings on her and it plays a little. Not enough for tomorrow night...yet.

But yowee...one word: BRIGHT.

I am not a fan of gigging with brand new or borrowed gear, even if it's nicer.  That oh so important setup time in the living room and garage is invalueable.  That last thing I want in front of a crowd is a surprise that could've been figured out by fine tuning with patience.  Also, rushing a build  or setup for a gig usually causes mistakes or settling for less than intended results.

Nice build.  Love the neck, and I concur with choice of smokes.

Yeah, after another hour and a half of work last night I might be inclined to agree with you. Even though, for the first time in my life I don't think I had any major crapups. I normally destroy everything I touch, but this thing came together really smoothly. Still, it's definitely not playable yet, and since i have to work for the next 7 hours, it's looking less and less like that's likely to be acceptable before 10 pm tonight.

My primary Warmoth is up and ready to gig, but I need a backup one way or the other. Unfortunately that means I need to get my normal standby guitar up and running, since it's in disarray, too.

Damned if I do, damned if I don't. :guitaristgif:
