Which tone pot lug to solder the cap?

I was doing some research on a HH Strat wiring and saw wiring diagrams from Fralin and Seymour Duncan.

From Fralin, one wire of the cap is soldered to the lug on the side

While from Seymour Duncan, it is wired to the center lug

Does it make any difference which lug the cap is wired to?
