I know curved top bodies w/ rear routs use long shaft potentiometers, but do flat top bodies use long shaft pots or regular pots? I think they use long pots but just want to confirm. Let me know what up.  :help:

In case others read this-
I got a rear routed strat, and ordered an Acme pack of electronics which included regular cts pots.
However the threading on these were NOT long enough.
I had to buy some bourns pots instead.

Just to add to the general info here regarding a bass -

I just got a rear routed standard Jazz bass and had to go with long shaft pots. Standard pots were not long enough.

My Telecaster rear routed didn't fit the normal StewMac pots... I suggest you buy them from Warmoth or get the long shaft ones...

For what I remember was from StewMac, but perhaps was CTS bought from other place...
