Which pickup rout do I need?

I put in an order for a Firebird body last week, and now I'm kinda panicing about the rout I selected for pickups.

I plan to install Lollar Firebird bridge and neck mini buckers in it, but I'm confused about mounting rings, etc. I've got mini-bucker routing selected for the body, but when I look at real Firebirds, I notice that it's got a large mounting ring around it (http://moviebuzzers.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/super-mario-movie-goomba.jpg.

Is the Gibson version a full-size rout with a mini-bucker adapter ring, or what? I'd like mine to look the same way, but I honestly have no idea how the real version is.

Well I know my Gibsons but I've never seen a pickup mount like that before!

Mini-humbuckers and Firebird pickups are the same size as pictured:

Les Paul Deluxes etc use plastic adaptor rings to fit in a soapbar (P90) size rout.

The Firebird rings that Lollar sells would be fine.

Actually there's some variation in size between different makes and styles of mini-HB and Firebird PU's.

They seem to range from 1" x 2 1/2" to 1 1/8" x 2 11/16".

...ok, same size-ish - hence W offering 2 variations for their pickguards but only one for body routs. Though 3/16" is quite a big ish.
