Which floyd rose nut should I get?

Hey guys, this is my first post here and I need some help. I have a 1 11/16" tiltback arcade neck that I'm about to order but I don't know what nut to get. My other warmoth neck is 1 11/16" with a white corian nut and I always hated the way the high e string was so close to the edge of the fretboard. What I'm wondering is, can I get the R3 nut with the compound 10-16" neck radius? The R3 will fit the width but the radius is off as it is 12". The R4 has a 10" radius but the string spacing is wider. Is there any way to address this without getting wider string spacing?

Oh and one more thing. I talked about this with a friend who is a guitar tech and he said I should have warmoth level the frets so they start at a 12" radius at the nut? Is this possible to get done? Thanks,

I would get the R3 for that situation.

The Schaller made ones are also 10" radius for R3,  I believe Warmoth sells them.

On fret leveling, Warmoth does not do that they install them, but any leveling or finessing is left to the end user to do or get help with.

This may help.  Both are 1 11/16.  R3 has narrower spacing that it really only noticeable at top of the neck.  Think of it like this....binding use r3, no binding r4.

I have always used r4  on 1. 11/16 necks.

You are correct :) all parts says the Schaller R3 has a 10" radius. Wonder why that was so hard to find out  :dontknow:

Schaller's website. If you want to verify further.

The only information I can find on radius is in the technical drawings. They all say "R 10*". Is that radius? It's pretty confusing how they don't say the radius in the actual product description.

Yes, R 10" is the radius of 10".

I'm assuming the schaller nuts are not the same is the ones on the floyd rose website. Is that correct? Even Warmoth's website says that the Schaller R3 has a 12" radius but Schaller's website has a 10". WTF??
