So recently I was rejected from a graduate program/job opportunity that I was really looking forward to and hoping to get into, and to try and curb a little bit of the sadness I did what any grown many that loves guitars should do...

I bought some wood!!

Big piece of Sapele worth two 1-piece bodies, big long piece of Padauk worth 4 bolt on necks, and Wenge, Indian Rosewood, Padauk and Ebony Fretboard stock.

Keep your eyes peeled for some projects :icon_thumright:

Well, looks like the retail therapy's been good to you this weekend.  Sorry the program didn't accept your application, but the guitars in your future will help ease the bruising a tad.

What kind of program did you apply to?

It was GE's Edison Engineering Development Program. Basically I work for them and they pay me and my way through Grad school, and at the end of the 2.5 year program I have no obligations to continue working for them, even though I probably would have. GE has been good to me so far.

It was a little disappointing, but I am sure I will find something else.

I have lots of gears turning as to what to make, but nothing is concrete yet.
