What's the difference between copperhead and Tiger's Eye finishes?

Saw this body today:

and it brought up a question that I've been thinking about since the Thanksgiving sale: what's the difference between Tiger's Eye and Copperhead finishes?  They look about the same to me.

Did a search for both finishes.

Kind of similar ...
Just seems more / brighter Orange in the Tiger Eye.

I've just ordered my VIP in copperhead instead of Tigers Eye.

It's not a regular finish and is only offered as a custom option on request at extra cost.

They are very similar but the center is less yellow and more coppery, and the outer burst differs slightly.

I love it and can't wait for mine to arrive!

That's not the greatest representation of Tigers eye - if you look in the owners gallery, they are normally much yellower in the middle.

Tigers Eye and Copper head are similar. Tigers eye has yellow and the Copperhead is more of a washed brown. If you held the two side to side you would be able to see the difference. We offer the Copperhead for those that want less yellow more natural look. It's all personal taste. :guitaristgif:
