My friend is quitting guitar (apparently he has no inspiration :dontknow
, but he gave me one of his projects to work on. Its an old eighties red Epiphone strat style guitar with the kws headstock and an hsh routing. I have just the body and neck right now, with tuners/nut installed. However, he tried scalloping the neck and I don't like the way scallops feel, so I was thinking a Warmoth neck on it with those new steinberger gearless tuners. Any suggestions for pickups and/or other mods? (I think the body is basswood)
