...for my Charvel Fusion Deluxe? Here is a pic of the guitar body (don't have truss rod pics with me right now, but can post tonight if helpful):

Here roughly the "type" of wrench I think I need (not sure how to describe it):

The question is, do I go with 7mm, 8mm, 1/4"? Anyone know?

Thanks in advance.

Try a 5/16" thin wall deep well socket.
If that doesn't work, hit up your local git store.

Nice axe by the way.  I think I installed a set of EMG's in one of those about 25 years ago.

All I have is "regular" sockets - the walls are too thick, and the tool to use at a right angle is too bulky.  So, if I have to buy a tool anyway, I may as well get the proper truss rod wrench.  But, of course, I need to know what that is!

BTW, would a Guitar Center stock truss rods like this?

They may have the wrenches, but I doubt that they carry actual truss rods.

You may opt to send an email to Stew Mac.  They're pretty good at determining compatibility.  Not really Warmoth's bag, as they build their own necks, and don't work on any necks but the ones that they make.  You could also check the Charvel/Jackson forum.

I don't know anything about the truss rod, but that is a cool looking guitar.  That takes me back to 1990, when it seemed like every non Fender or Gibson guitar had a look like that.
