So just wondering, what we all do for a living? Maybe we can see a trend to who builds guitars?

I'm sorry, but what good is a poll with all those categories that also has "other" as the biggest and dominant thing to do?

Almost 90 days into a new job. Financial analyst for a medical laboratory. Loving it!
Down to 2 paying musical gigs. That is good as one was dysfuntional and I was over-extended.

Ummmm ....  :dontknow:

I'm operator of a petroleum refinery.

Student of product design, but might not follow after graduation, paying is a b*&$ in this area...

If we're going to resurrect this thread, I gotta ask: Am I the only current civil servant here? With 16 years as a prototype manufacturing specialist for a military electronics contractor, I went into corrections when Mr. Reagan made peace with the Russians. After 25 years in uniform, retirement is just around the corner!

Telecoms. I work for one of the larger global players, responsible for hooking up customer sites in Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands to the global network so they can transport data from where it is and they don't want it to where it isn't but they do want it. Somewhat like kegs of beer but we use photons instead of trucks.

maybe it's marine biologist, that's sort of piratey?

Actually, that is exactly what I am, but do more lab work nowadays. Although if given a choice, I'd be on a boat most of the time ;)

I'm currently a web designer / developer. Hoping to change that soon - when I figure out how / what to replace it!

Just finished month 1 as a Organizational Capability/Financial Analyst after being unemployed/under employed for 1.5+ years.

If I don’t like what I do, I have myself to blame as I created the position and wrote the job description  :laughing7:
