My first forum post! I've found threads on here very helpful, but I didn't see one on this question:
I am building a guitar with a strat body/neck, a TOM bridge w/ an angled neck pocket, and an angled headstock, and I'm wondering what sort of case would be appropriate for the instrument. My concern is that the guitar might not best be protected by a standard stratocaster case. I gig/travel a lot, so I'm very interested in getting a case that will hold the guitar properly and not put stress on the neck pocket/headstock as I move it around!
Of course I could try out cases once the guitar is built, but I'd rather not have to carry it around case-less from my guitar tech to the store (and beyond if the store doesn't have an adequate case).
Does anyone have any experience with a guitar of this type, or suggestions for a case?
Thanks!
