What’s Your Favorite HSH Wiring?

The last HSH I built I achieved a great combo of hum free tones:

1 - Bridge (series/parallel)
2 - Bridge Auto Split + Middle
3 - Bridge + Neck (series/parallel)
4 - Neck Auto Split + Middle
5 - Neck (series/parallel)

What’s your favorite HSH wiring? Do you prefer split tones? Has anyone used PRS style positions? Let me know what you like.

Just finished a Tele Hybrid build using the HSH configuration.  It's using separate vol controls for the bridge H and neck H with coil splitting for these pups, along with a separate tone control that is selectable for either .047 or .022 caps.  There is no vol control for the mid pup.

1 - Bridge (HB or SC)
2 - Bridge / Mid (Bridge HB or SC, if Bridge vol rolled down to zero, full Mid pup comes through)
3 - Bridge / Neck (either can be selectable for HB or SC)
4 - Neck / Mid (Neck HB or SC, if Bridge vol rolled down to zero, full Mid pup comes through)
5 - Neck (HB or SC)

On the coil splitting, I had read an article on the Fralin site about using a resistor when splitting, which helps keep the volume levels closer between HB or SC.

I like the coil splitting tones, but do not like the hum.  I may try experimenting with parallel wiring instead of coil splitting.
